DAY 1
Ha Giang to Dong Van

Your Ha Giang adventure begins at 9:00 AM, when we pick you up from your homestay or hotel. The journey to Dong Van spans over 150 kilometers, with plenty of stops to take in the region’s beauty.

Our first stop is Heaven’s Gate, perched 1,500 meters above sea level, offering panoramic mountain views. As we descend the pass, we’ll pause at a scenic viewpoint to admire the famous Twin Mountains before enjoying a delicious lunch at a local village restaurant.

The journey continues with stops at picturesque ethnic villages, the breathtaking Tham Ma Pass, and the historic Hmong King Palace. We’ll arrive in Dong Van by 5:00 PM, where you can settle into your accommodation and explore the charming Old Quarter after dinner.

Dong Van to Meo Vac

Start your day with a hearty breakfast before venturing through the Dong Van Plateau, a UNESCO Global Geopark known for its stunning landscapes. If it’s a Sunday, you’ll have the chance to visit the vibrant minority market in Dong Van – a cultural experience not to be missed.

Next, we’ll travel to Lung Cu, Vietnam’s northernmost point, marked by a towering flagpole and offering spectacular views of the surrounding Vietnamese and Chinese mountains. After lunch, we’ll journey to the tour’s highlight: the Ma Pi Leng Pass. Known as Vietnam’s most majestic mountain pass, it features dramatic cliffs and awe-inspiring panoramic views.
