Day 1: Sapa – Tram Ton Pass – Base Camp (2,800m)

  • 9:00 AM: Pick up from your hotel in Sapa for a short drive to Tram Ton Pass, the starting point of your adventure.

  • Begin the trek at the Park Rangers’ Station at an elevation of 2,000m. As you climb, immerse yourself in the natural beauty of the area while learning about the local cardamom plants and their importance to the local community. Along the way, you may also spot native bird species unique to this region.

  • Lunch: Take a break at 2,200m to enjoy a relaxing picnic lunch surrounded by nature.

  • Continue trekking to the base camp at 2,800m, taking in stunning mountain views as you ascend. Upon arrival, set up camp for the night.

  • Dinner will be prepared over a campfire, creating a cozy atmosphere amidst the rugged mountain terrain. After a rewarding day of trekking, enjoy a peaceful night’s sleep, nestled in the heart of the mountains.

Day 2: Base Camp – Mount Fansipan Summit (3,143m) – Tram Ton Pass – Sapa

  • 4:00–4:30 AM: Rise early for breakfast and prepare for the final ascent.

  • 6:00–6:30 AM: Celebrate your accomplishment as you reach the summit of Mount Fansipan, standing at 3,143m above sea level. Take time to savor the crisp mountain air and admire the breathtaking views overlooking Sapa town and its lush green forest landscapes.

  • After taking in the remarkable scenery, begin your descent back to the base camp at 2,800m.

  • 12:30 PM: Enjoy a well-deserved lunch at base camp, re-energizing for the final leg of the journey.

  • Trek back down to Tram Ton Pass at 2,000m, where your driver will be waiting to take you back to Sapa.

  • 4:00 PM: Arrive in Sapa, marking the end of your unforgettable adventure.

The Mount Fansipan ascent requires the presence of a guide due to local administrative procedures.

Note: This trek is physically demanding and requires a high level of fitness.

 

Important note:

  • If you have a hotel in Sapa, we recommend leaving your luggage there. If not, you’re welcome to leave your belongings with us when we meet at Sapa Church at 9:00 AM.
