Mount Fansipan One-Day Trek

Starting in Sapa, the trek takes you to the summit of Indochina’s tallest mountain, towering at 3,143 meters. Please note that this trek requires a licensed guide due to administrative procedures mandated by local authorities.

Itinerary Details:

  • 5:30 AM: Begin your adventure with a pick-up from your accommodation in Sapa, followed by a scenic drive to Tram Ton Pass.

​

  • 6:30 AM: Start your hike from Tram Ton Pass, trekking through rolling hills and lush landscapes as you ascend toward the summit.

​

  • 12:00 PM: Reach the peak of Mount Fansipan. Bask in the breathtaking panoramic views, enjoy the fresh air above the clouds, and savor a picnic lunch at the top.

  • 1:00 PM: Begin your descent, navigating the changing terrain with the guidance of your expert leader.

​

  • 4:00 PM: Conclude your trek and return to your starting point in Sapa.

Key Notes for Preparation:

  • This challenging trek covers approximately 24 kilometers, with varying terrain at higher altitudes. A high level of physical fitness is required.

​

  • Essential items to bring: proper hiking boots/shoes, weather-appropriate clothing, rain gear, snacks, water, sun protection (e.g., hats, sunglasses, sunscreen), and a backpack to carry your supplies.

​

Important note:

  • If you have a hotel in Sapa, we recommend leaving your luggage there. If not, you’re welcome to leave your belongings with us when we meet at Sapa Church at 6:00 AM.
