DAY 1

​

  • 9:00am - pick up at your Hotel

  • Walk 3km to the Suoi Ho Blach Hmong ethnic minority village

  • See the subsistence farming practices of the local people along with the animals they use for farming and food

  • Continue walking to Ma Tra and explore the impressive ruins of a church dating back to the French occupation in the early 1900s

  • Trek to the village of Ta Phin, where you will meet people of both the both Black Hmong and Red Dzao ethnic minorities

  • Lunch at Ta Phin Village

  • Hmong arts and crafts demonstration

  • Walk to the Red Dzao homestay. The Red Dzao are known for their expertise in herbal medicine as well as the use of native plants to treat many illnesses. Your guide will introduce you to some Red Dzao women who can tell you about their many remedies. A Red Dzao herbal medicine bath can be arranged for you to experience

  • Dinner and overnight homestay accommodation.

DAY 2 

​

  • 9 am - breakfast

  • After breakfast, leave Ta Phin town and trek towards Phin Ho village.

  • Enjoy the beauty of the natural surroundings. As the track rises into the mountains, you will experience the natural wonders of Sapa. This 2.5 hours journey will take you through mountains, valleys, forests and terraced rice fields.

  • Experience lunch with a local family in Phin Ho village, which is located on the border of Ta Phin and Ban Khoang communities. Enjoy panoramic views of Ban Khoang valley.

  • After lunch, walk to the main road for car transportation back to Sapa.

  • From your hotel in Sapa, at Sapa bus station, at Lao Cai train station or in front of Sapa Church

  • At your hotel in Sapa, at the Sapa center or at the train station in Lao Cai city

Important note:

  • If you have a hotel in Sapa, We highly recommend you to leave your luggage there, if you don't have a hotel in Sapa you can leave your luggage with us once we meet you at Sapa Church at 7 AM.
