At 3,049 meters, Mount Putaleng is the third highest mountain. The ascent is a must for hikers and fits adventurous visitors to Sapa.

​Transport from Sapa to Lai Chau Ta Leng and return provided

6:00 am : You will have breakfast at your hotel in Sapa.

7:30 am.: The tour guide and the driver will start picking you and other hikers up at your hotel in Sapa. Once everyone is picked up, then as a group we will take the bus and take a long drive to Ho Thau village where we will start the hike.

12:00 Noontime : We will take a short rest to enjoy lunch at the beautiful Cardamon Valley of the local people.

16h00: We will reach the base camp at 2400m high, here you will take a break after the long day journey of the first day. During rest time you can prepare dinner with your guide and enjoy the food preparation.

18h30: We will have dinner and enjoy the natural atmosphere of the mountain and forest. Here we will finish the first day hiking.

DAY 2

5:00 am Wake up, have breakfast and enjoy a cup of coffee or hot tea.

6:00 AM: After having breakfast, we will start hiking up to the top of the mountain. We will be leaving all our gears here at the base of camp and carry only light items with us as we hike.
​

9:h30: We will be at top Summit of Pu Ta Leng. We will celebrate the achievement as we arrive at the summint of Pu Ta Leng 3049m above sea level. We will take some time to enjoy the beautiful sceneries on the top of the mountain. After enjoying the remarkable views, and rest we return to the base camp.

12h00: Return back to the base camp 2400m high. Enjoy lunch. After having lunch we will pack our stuffs and continue our journey to the second base camp in the direction of Ta Lèng village in the forest.

16h00: We will be arriving at the base camp, rest, and have dinner with the group.

DAY 3
​

5:30 am : Wake up early in the morning to have breakfast and enjoy the sunrise.

6:30 am : We will pack up our stuffs and continue the journey on the third day, it takes about 5 hours to get to the center of Ta Leng village.
​

12:30: Arrival to Ta Leng village. Enjoy a quick lunch before getting on the bus back to Sapa.
​

16h00: Arriving in Sa Pa and the Tour ends.
​

Important note:

If you have a hotel in Sapa, We highly recommend you to leave your luggage there, if you don't have a hotel in Sapa you can leave your luggage with us once we meet you at Sapa Church at 7 AM.
