The ascent to Mount Fansipan is a must for lovers of active hikes in Sapa. Reserved for seasoned walkers, the ascent to the highest mountain in Indochina rises to 3,143 meters. Experience unbelievable scenery and views, clear skies, and fresh air above the clouds. 


The Mount Fansipan ascent can only be undertaken in the company of a guide, as administrative procedures are required from the local authorities.

  • Today you will hike up to 3143m to the summit of Mount Fansipan,

  • 05:30am - Pick-up at Anywhere in Sapa

  • 5:30 AM: Head to the Tram Ton Pass.

  • 12:00 PM: Lunch, after lunch, keep going up to 3143m. -

  • 2:00 PM: Start descending.

  • 4:00 PM: Finish

  • 04:00pm - Drop-off at Anywhere in Sapa

  • Please note, this trek requires a high level of physical fitness

  • Total distance: about 20 kms

  • Altitude: 3,143 M

  • Approximately 10 hours of walking
